The more I look at that ad the worse the lies look.
Let's say they were born Jan 2010 (benefit of doubt). The grass is green in those pictures so let's call it Sept (again being generous). And those bulls grew that much and had tails that long and that much horn development?
I'm officially throwing the BS flag! 15 yard penalty and loss of down!

I'm pretty sure they've used those same pictures for a couple of years.
It's obvious from the green grass that the pictures aren't current.
They probably haven't taken any pictures of their new crop of bulls.

I am not trying to be too big of an ass here, and I am sure you are right George. But even that seems a little bait and switchish.
Disregarding the pictures let's say they are 11 months old, and they say they weigh 1350#? In MODERATE flesh?
I don't know. I have used cattle range before and I sure as hell try to be a little more clear than that on my ads.

I have used cattle range before and I sure as hell try to be a little more clear than that on my ads. I'm pretty sure those are the bulls that they sold in the Oklahoma Assn. Sale in November, 2009 at Sulphur. It is misleading if you look at the ad thinking those are the bulls you are going to get to pick from. For sure, any thinking person gets bad vibes when looking at the pictures and the descriptions, which is bad for Bucky and Kathy, although I'm sure they just aren't thinking how much scrutiny these ads receive....or that they might possibly be perceived as being misleading or dishonest. I always get a chuckle out of seeing the W4 Ranch ads and sale cover for their bull sale that shows the same cowboys trailing the same bulls through their gate each year. It's a great picture, but those bulls sold in 2004 (I think). Truthfully, this year, you'd had to look hard to find some bulls in their sale that looked as good as those bulls in that picture do, based on the videos. w4ranch.com/pdf/W4-09sale.pdfKeeping a web-site and advertising fresh is time consuming, requires thought and planning...and many breeders tend to neglect that part of it, not realizing how important it is - or how a "skeptical" public, who may not know them personally, might perceive what they see. Nothing like bashing a nationally recognized Hereford breeder on a public forum when you don't have your facts straight.

Nothing like speaking the truth. Can you tell me where I said anything untrue? The ad is very misleading whether intentional or not.
A little more attention to detail is in order. Did you even look at the ad?

Send em a link and have them come on here. I'd be glad to have someone speak for themselves.

Send em a link and have them come on here. I'd be glad to have someone speak for themselves. Not a bad idea! I sent them an e-mail. I COULD be wrong about the age of the pictures, but I don't think so. I tried to enlarge them to where I could read the eartag numbers, but wasn't able to get a clear image of any of them because the resolution wasn't good enough - but I'd give good odds that those aren't spring 2010 bull calves pictured!
