Hello fellow Hereford my name is Dave Kinkead of Farmington MO. I haven't been here for a while. I can proudly say I am back and have ownership of my original farm that I was raised on and I'm in the process of building a cow herd but it is going to be a commercial herd. in the process of taking over I have found a June 1916 edition of the Hereford Journal that is for sale. To you breeders who collect Hereford documents this is an extremely important issue. In addition to many feature article about small regional Hereford associations and research of what's being done at colleges all over the country the two most important historical articles in this edition is a full page ad about the monumental Gudgell Simpson Dispersion that without a doubt was the huge advancement of the Hereford breed thoughout the nation and and article by Warren Gammon of Des Monies Iowa about the start of the polled Hereford breed. This edition is one of a kind! It is for sale and shipped to you for a price of $500 but that can be discussed. Make me an offer. It not in bad shape for being over a 100 years old. if interested in buying please text or call me at 319-325-6172 and we can talk about it. I have some pictures that I can text or email but they are too big to attach here. Thank you, Welder Dave
