Black cow angry, red cow happy

My grandson goes with his father (who is a veterinarian) a lot. The other day he was feeding hay with me and saw one of our black recip cows. Out of the blue he said "black cow, angry cow". Then he saw a Hereford and said "red cow, happy cow". I swear it all came from his experience watching his Dad.

We were putting in embryos in our fall calving recips a couple months back, about a fourth of them are black. At one point I turned to my grandmother in frustration and said I'm never buying another black cow. I think she's planning on holding me to that
