I rarely see an article that tells the truth and helps people understand he manipulation that can happen when people use statistics to drive decision making. Half truths, tend to be very common when there is an agenda behind it. You have to be very disciplined to use statistics correctly. I wish this article would get reported on CNN and all the rest spreading lies. Link to The truth about Agriculture's Contribution to Climate Change

Here's an interview with DR. Mitloehner that's a little easier reading to me, a little more straight Q & A. link

What do you expect? We live in a world today where everyone has access to more information, literally on their fingertips, than at any other point in human history BUT I would argue more people are misinformed/uninformed today than at any previous point. I don't know how you fix that.
Does agriculture have a carbon footprint? Obviously, what doesn't? But what's the alternative?
This whole debate is completely disingenuous -- there is a natural carbon cycle. Carbon emissions are not inherently bad, but we as humans decided many years ago to dig up terrestrial carbon, which has been in the ground for thousands of years, and burn it and turn it into atmospheric carbon. THAT is the problem, cattle, livestock, agriculture production, really in the grand scheme, have little impact on that.
