As I alluded to in my reply to my original thread about shutting the site down, I have been overwhelmed with calls, emails, and PMs regarding the future of HT. Offers to take over, to moderate for me, to donate money, etc....I appreciate them all. I am so sorry that I have not responded to any of you directly. I have been thinking so hard about this and and also my CPA business is naturally ramping into rocket launch for tax season so to say that I am a bit overwhelmed is an understatement.
With all that said, my hand was in some ways forced today. I thought the domain expired the end of this month. Turns out I got an email today and it expires today at 11:55PM. I still haven't fully wrapped my mind around the future but did not feel right about letting it expire so abruptly without me having 100% made my mind up on it. I therefor renewed the domain name for a year. I will make assessments as I go along. But for now let's try to let everything get back to normal if we can. I may not post as much personally but that doesn't mean I won't still be watching and reading and that it is open season for a bunch of questionable posts.
Thanks again to you all for your patience with me past, present and future.

Glenn, you made my day. The ice storm we have going on today isn't quite so nasty now.

Thank you, Glenn
I am very pleased that you have renewed HT for 2020, and I hope that you will continue it indefinitely.
Have a great day,

Glen. I see from timbernt that the ice storm is not so bad today given you are continuing, at least for another year. From down under can I say that the drought and fires are not as bad today given you are continuing. Now I am not sure what ice, drought and fires has to do with all this but clearly your decision has international weather implications, something I haven't seen written about the World Hereford Council. Can I please encourage you to let us in on your feelings as they develop over the next year so the forum can continue long into the future. As I saw written on the forum somewhere I would much rather live in a world without a breed society than live in a world without Hereford Talk. It seems to me Hereford Talk is THE major source of non-fake Hereford news . Thanks a million.

Glad to hear Hereford Talk will continue.
Hopefully talking with others will lead to a way to continue HT into the future.

Thanks Glenn for committing for another year. You are a GREAT Hereford patriot and continue to provide an important service to the HEREFORD breed. Since we are starting a new year is there any chance that the "banned for life" hereford contributors could be allowed to once again participate in HEREFORD TALK? They provided some insight that was important to me, and was probably important to others as well.
