Glenn some day I'm going to make it down and look at your cattle. Yours appear to be good working kind of cattle unlike many seen today,
It would make a good day trip. I just seem to never get caught up and am always playing wak a mole.

How old is the picture of the 14038 bull November Thanks Glenn, both your L1 bulls are low birthweight bulls, a trend you're gonna continue?

I don't really concentrate on that. It's just how it ended up with 14038 and 16020. I think 16020 may be a real find as far as "curvebenders" go. He does sire low BW and plenty of growth with it.
14038 isn't really a heifer bull. His calves are on the lighter side but they are built blocky from the get go. Makes a good "look" but probably not truly what you want a heifer bred to.
15245 seems to be higher BW and though he is a "monster" of a bull, he seems 9so far) to sire better looking females than bulls. His bulls never really light my fire as far as looks. Lots of frame there and even by yearling they don't really fill out to the frame. Maybe I should feed harder (LOL).

I don't think frame dictates the type but it sure has an influence on it.
