Randy, can you or others knowledgeable about the circumstances explain why Delorean bought Pine Creek ranch in the Lemhi Valley from the Reeses and became a Hereford breeder? Did he have an active role at the ranch? Was he just using it as one of his scams?

That may have been during the time frame that the IRS provided some significant tax advantages to investments of that type.....

Hmmm.... What a wonderful deal...DeLorean bought Pine Creek basically to impress his side chick and future wife. He was at the ranch on and off with plenty of risque wild parties. He did not play an active in the operations. He was more on the "Entertainment" end of the operation. When I attended one of the last sales he was in attendance. T-shirt, Levis, Ratskin (Mink etc) coat, Ratskin boots. He was snorted up and stoned out of his mind with a few in his entourage the same. The ranch was DeLorean's showplace to bring future "investors" and show them a good time. I will have to say the manager had the place looking the best. There were some good cattle there. In the end, he scammed multiple people using that ranch as a backdrop.

Who did Joe Scoble buy the Pine Creek cows from when he moved them to the Pahsimeroi Valley? Did he get all the Pine Creek cows along with Stilts? Did he have possession of titan 7777 or just a semen interest?

I do know Max Beeler ended up with some of the cows. I do know there were Pine Creek cows sold at auction as I attended one. Hopefully someone knows more, but most that will read this were not alive or old enough to know... |
