I set up 2 cows to A-I recently but nether showed signs of heat. But it was really hot here when I set them up. I DID NOT A-l them. Didn't see the point in it. I followed everything to the hour. I know your supposed to breed non responders but I think I will wait now for Natural heat.
Any advice?

Agreed on not breeding without positive heat signs. Could be they just didn’t exhibit behavior (I missed all my spring AI this year because it stormed the two days they should’ve been standing. All they did was wad up in the corner of the lot.) or you could have started the protocol right after they cycled (so the protocol didn’t work). Wait 11 days from last Lutalyse/Estrumate shot and Lutalyse them again. That should catch them either way, if they were actually in heat or not. Unless there’s another problem like an infection or cystic.
