Okay, I'm just a little confused. Normally, on ET calves there is no difference in the BW, WW, and YW EPDs in full sibs until progeny data from them comes in. However, here is some where there is a difference beforehand. www.herfnet.com/online/cgi-bin/i4.dll?1=232B21&2=22365F2F&3=56&5=2B3C2B3C3A&8=56&9=5C5F5FThe only thing I can note is that the scans affected the carcass EPDs and those in turn must have affected their growth EPDs. Interesting! George

I've saw that same thing not to long ago in maybe the Hereford World or sale catalog, two full brothers from the same flush with slightly different epd's. I figured the recips were reg. Herefords or part of the Alternate Breed Inventory so there was some predictability in how the calves would birth/grow from the recips previous performance/epd's.
