Would like to obtain a copy of the RWJ Polled Hereford dispersal catalog. Any help appreciated. I don't have one that would have been available at the sale, but I do have the one that was printed in the June 1975 Polled Hereford World. The sale results was printed in the September 75 issue, I have that one as well. You might find some old Polled Hereford world issues that someone might have stashed away somewhere. DM

Danny, Thanks for the great idea! Our University, I believe has the old journals archived. When I get back next week, I'll check with them. See you in late September . this was a second attempt to reply, so I hope you don't get two replies... Thanks so much, Steve

Just saw this post today. My Grandfather was R. W. Jones,Jr.. We have an original of the 1975 sale book and would ilike to share it with someone who is interested in preserving the legacy of the RWj breed. Hello Rob, Good to hear from someone from the Jones family! For the last forty years I have been doing just that, continuing breeding the RWJ Victor Domino line of Polled Herefords. You can see some pictures of the herd on the website www.jmsvictordomino.com Mr. Vicktor Jones sent me an RWJ branding iron used in the sixties and seventies. I had met him at the farm in Leslie, GA in the late seventies when I bought a bull from him. Seen him a couple more times at the Anhinga bull sales years later. If you had an extra copy of the catalog I would sure like to have one along with any other memorabilia that still might be available from the RWJ herd. Thanks, Danny Miller JMS Polled Herefords 270-465-6984.

Danny, Got your note and will shoot you an email to the address on your website. I am pretty sure my Uncle Vick threatened me with that branding iron once or twice, particularly when I put regular gas in the diesel tractor!

It's been years since I heard anything about him. Below is a picture of the branding iron I shared on this site a couple years ago. DM
