I finally got around to registering last falls calves and I couldn't. I had bought some bred cows out of Canada and when I went to register the calves on myherd; the service information wasn't put when I registered is cow into the database nor could I put his registration number as the sire. This is the fourth time that I have had trouble registering imported cattle. I am sick and tired of the passive aggressive nature of the AHA. In spite of all the issues, I want to breed registered Hereford Cattle. I can make it selling feeder cattle and commercial replacements. It is sad that the people who should be most supportive are working against me.

I have sent them an email but why am I the one making contact? Why isn't the AHA looking at their membership roster and calling the folks like myself who haven't gotten around to registering last years calves?

Why isn't the AHA looking at their membership roster and calling the folks like myself who haven't gotten around to registering last years calves? I would call them, I've always had good luck with them over the phone. As for your question- right, wrong, or indifferent, I've found that the world just doesn't work that way!
