Was out checking the fall calving cows with my son on Saturday evening. With bull sales going hot and heavy, I hadn't even checked these cows once in over three weeks. Looks like they were fine without me!

Thanks! Video works here too. Might try a flash upgrade. It's a YouTube so it should work across all browsers if your flash player is pretty current.

Good lookin' pair, very good. Now, where did you take the video? The grass does not look, by any stretch of the imagination, that it is Texas grass. So 'fess up, Glenn.

It might be the grass he has in OK. The grass where I'm helping at looks about like that.

It is in Texas! I sure like it when it looks like it does in the video and not like this: We have had pretty good spring rains. Wheat pastures look better than ever. Lots of wheat hay being rolled up. Spring grass/weeds are good. Not sure how our permanent native pastures will end up. It is early and summer is not yet here.

I've got 17 stock tanks on my places. All are full now!!!! The lake(s) are still in BAD shape. The one nearest me is on 20% right now (80% empty!!) the other is 24%. Maybe now that all the stock tanks are pretty much full the lakes can start filling. I sure hope so.
