Great educational post. Could you give a guesstimate about the hip heights?
Here is a photo of our polled bull at 21 months. He is right around 54-55 inches at the hip. My place is just starting to bounce back from the army worm infestation so he was getting about 3 pounds of feed every other day or so when he would show up at the house.

John, on 9/15/14 340 weighed 1190 and was 50.25 inches which AHA converted to 5.3 frame. 385 days old. DM

Thank you DM, the photos can be deceiving without a person or fence post as a reference. Mine looks like he is barely scraping 48 inches in the photo and 340 looks like a stout 60 inches.
One of these days I am heading your way with a cattle trailer...

It's a shame that 340's dam isn't a better looking cow, Danny!

It's a shame that 340's dam isn't a better looking cow, Danny! George, the picture was taken at a different angle, I was on the lower side of the road bed when I came up on 830 and her calf. Thought it was neat at that angle for udder/cow shot and eye level with the calf. A more conventional picture of 830 is on the website under the cow herd tab, second picture of two cows with 830 on the left. I like that one better. 830 represents ten generations of females here with superior udder quality. One of the top cow families here. Top side of 340's pedigree has another of my favorite cow lines for udders so I am excited about using him back in the herd.

10 generations?!?!?!?!?! Wow that is a breeding PROGRAM!!! This cow line goes back to JMS Victra HH6 40 who was sired by RWJ Victor 0110 HH6 who I purchased from Vicktor Jones in 1977 at the ripe old age of 19. (Meant to say I was 19 not the bull)

Anyone have any calves by 340 yet?
Edited to add: Or was it 202 that was collected and used by some here?

George, it was 202 that was collected. Tom Krauss and Ken Stephens have calves on the ground. Was used on heifers with no issues from the feedback I have received. 202 was used on heifers here. 340 was used on heifers as well. Will be an interesting comparison as there were some really good bulls used A.I. on heifers in these herds. I just snapped some updated pictures of 202 and 340 a couple days ago. 340 202

Nice bulls Danny. I like the 202 bull better. What I really like is all the clover LOL. My clover will be a total loss I am afraid. It has been to wet to get in field and it was ready ALONG time ago. I am so depressed with every thing I haven't even looked at it in awhile.

If anyone has not been to Danny Millers they should go! Quality across the board and integrity to go with it!
