I have liked some of the photos and certainly the data on Ribeye progeny. Problem is, I have not seen many at all in the Southeast. Are the cows as functional as they seem to be? Thx, Steve

I'm curious too, is it that bad that it can't be shared?

Any PM to me is confidential . Sorry but just who I am. I will say I have gotten varying opinions from several breeders who manage cattle in different ways.. (varying nutrition levels),. In our tough fescue country it is tough to know what cattle west of the Mississippi will do here. Probably do better if we pampered but that does not happen. I mentioned in an earlier post my interest in the Deewall cattle. Those cattle seem to have enough guts to them that they may get it done. Planning a trip out that way, I hope this fall. My thoughts are if I can tie to their genetics thru ET, those babies will have a better chance of acclimating . Deewall bulls flushed to my linebred Plato Rupert cows. Not worried about the EPD's as that will come with time thru progeny comparisons of currently EPD cattle that I own. Thoughts welcomed.

I just want to say that I try not to make posts that might be considered critical of a certain breeder or breeders on the forum but will share my opinions in a pm. If I can't say something good I try to only share my thoughts in pm's. Anyone wanting to know my opinion can send me a pm and I'll be glad to share it with them.

Her registration number is 43338706. She is due November. She is a daughter of the S349 cow I will send next. If you can post please feel free. Comments welcome. Fowken Farm owns this female. I own the dam. She is the dam of y554 I just sent. Her registry is 42786648. She has had 4 heifers. Notice her data when you pull her up. Her H model 16 year old dam has a heifer by side now at Fowken.

Most are polled today. The S349 cow is the female I plan to flush. Thoughts are JMS 967 and possibly a Deewall bull... Comments welcome..
