I don’t understand the comment about Felton genetics as nothing goes back to an actual Felton breed bull or cow.
I like the comment about yearling bulls mated to sisters. It seems that the art of husbandry in breeding seed stock has been lost. Gold Trophy Sire Program which required sire to breed (I forget certain number 10?) of his daughters without any offspring presenting any abnormality before getting this label keeps the blood clean and free.
I guess the only problem with this practice is the people that don’t understand it or think it is not necessary today. OMG you mean you are going to breed him to his own daughters. Hello McFly! The way breeders kept genetics clean and free of abnormalities before testing was possible. Problem with testing is you have to know what you are looking for.
It is disappointing I have 10y offspring I will need to have checked.
