www.ngrbulls.com/Movie_0004.wmvwe had the video camera outside today - my oldest boys 12th birthday. I was welding the gate in my tub and got tired so i decided it would be a good day to mix this 817 bull in with a couple other herd bulls. I bought back 817 from a customer in Chinook and just got him back a few days ago and was tired of forking hay for him separate. I got worried at one point one was going to get hurt but they eventually agreed to quit. I have an angus bull in the pen and he got rolled right off the bat and you can hear him balling in the background. I missed all the good fighting that happened right away. anyhow - two 3/4 brothers out of 137Y

Really nice bulls, move well too. When you get one like either one of those who's polled, call me first ;D

that makes me wonder... was it you that talked about trying to find polled calves by horned parents? i've seen a few way back in pedigrees from like the 30's but don't know of any real recent "mutants" or whatever they call them. has there ever been a freak polled calf with known (dna proven) pure horned parents?

Don't know if this cow as been dna tested for parent verification, but she's Miles City L1 bred so you would expect there would be no errors in the pedigree. www.herfnet.com/online/cgi-bin/i4.dll?1=232B21&2=2420&3=56&5=2B3C2B3C3A&6=5B5C23585820582020

sounds like courtney had a good sale - something around 4750 average.
high seller was bought by a commercial outfit for 12500 - 137y son. purebred guy from lewistown bought one for 8500
high average sire group was 137y - kinda neat. i still think i got the best damn one too... and even tho i don't get too worked up anymore.... that is what has me half ass excited for the coming years. be fun to see how it all pans out.
