Unless something big happens in the next 2 hours.
Only six lots to sell, three have no bids.
Although the Lot 1 Semen is selling pretty high.

I think the idea is good, but they need much better organization.
Like maybe they should assign each field rep. a month and they should be responsible for finding/recruiting GOOD cattle for the sale.
Or, they could have state sales through it or something.
All i know is that throwing POS cattle at it twice a month (or however often they have it) not only embarasses me as a hereford breeder, but i think it brings down the breed as a whole when the AHA is promoting the site in print/web advertising.

I tried to buy semen on the lot1 bull a while back, I called to order it about 2 weeks after he died (I didn't know at that time) they wouldn't sell me any. One of the better polled bulls IMO.

Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not buying some early on too. I thought I'd wait until I saw a number of offspring - and by the time he was getting used more it was too late. The Coyote Ridge Ranch video shot a few years ago showed a lot to like in both Tundra and Durango. That video is located here: www.coyoteridgeherefords.com/females.htmlGeorge

What an outstanding video! It's definately on my to-do list as soon as my cattle are fat enough !

What an outstanding video! It's definately on my to-do list as soon as my cattle are fat enough ! Yeah, it's the most informative and well-done cattle video I've seen. Tops the "professionally" done videos that were done for RFD tv of places like Holdens and Star Lake, as far as I'm concerned. George

Thanks for the link, really good video with some nice cattle. If I hadn't have got the Churchill bull I would have got a Tundra son at the Topps sale that year. Don't know why I didn't buy semen on him earlier, wouldn't mind some to use right now.

Think I'll list what I have left of my 29F semen.

It's too bad I didn't see THAT picture of him a while back. I'd probably have his semen in my tank. George
