Speaking of HerefordSire- since it was slow today, I went back and checked on his "donor" cows and found that 4 of the 5 had not had another calf registered since Schu-Lar had registered their first calves - before HerefordSire had bought them and turned them into donor cows.
However, one of his cows did have 5 ET calves born in the fall of 2008, by Governor, that Schu-Lar had registered. This cow:

Looking back, in 2006, HerefordSire said he already had 62 embryos frozen from those cows, with one flush still pending on each. In a later post he mentioned still having 87 frozen embryos after some were implanted. I can only imagine the expense he was out - apparently with little or nothing to show for it now.
