Could be right. I know we were so wet last yr that we didn't get everything planted and its wet so far this yr.

Everything I see says it will at least return to normal. A few have been showing up lately showing a forecast similar to this one. All I can say is not one long range forecaster predicted the amount of moisture we've seen in SW KS over the last 12 months. In fact several were saying we were going to be on the dry side and see below normal rainfall again last year. Yes I do look at the long range forecasts. One reason we decided to save back a little extra grass instead of leasing it. But the rest will do it good also. I will just let what develops dictate what I do. Maybe Glenn or the Deewall's or some other Hereford breeder will decide they need to sell a female or two. LOL. Jay

I hope you're wrong. We've gotten 2" since weds but I do believe when the tap gets turned off its gonna stay off. I'm wet baling all my first cutting so if I have to cut it with straw or cirnstslk bales I still have the good feed value hay here on the farm.

Make that 3.5 inches since weds. Going to be 38 tonight. Grass still not growing.

whats new. it's been drought here for giong on 5 years so whats one or two more at this point in the game.
