Well he is far from perfect, but I am at least impressed that he finally stood still long enough to let me get a decent picture!!

Dang, quick draw!! Beat me to it!! Glenn beat me to it also! But it did give me chance to browse through all your pictures. There are sure some good cattle in them - even the black hided ones.

This ornery t*** cooperated in May a little, as of late he wont at all. 065X! For a better pic, go to Coleman Herefords website. Here he is front feet downhill a bit with an rea pole growing out of his rear end!!

Kinda thread drift here, but I know from experience how hard it is as a "one man show" to catch one in a position for a halfway decent photo. The pics that we are deluded with in the HW and on FB are taken by TEAMS paid big money who have the highest dollar equipment.

I think its hilarious that they went through all of that and still have the back feet the wrong way around.

Thank you Danny! I appreciate the nice comments and the other kind too! I am sure everyone knows how challenging it can be to get a decent pic.
Now, let's see some more L1 pics, and others too!!

This might be going against the grain and some hard core horned and polled guys may not like this but Iv'e seen it done with some success. What contribution(s) would crossing a L1 bull with polled cattle be? Most of my cattle are 5.5 - 6 frame polled cattle that I would say most are big bodied with good udders but maybe not heavy milk. I'm toying around with adding a little L1 to add some maternal traits and milk to my herd and then will go back using polled cattle - My herd is mostly M326 genetics (Redeem), P606, 242 (Revolution), Online, etc. Just curious if anyone has done it or seen any.

I really like the holden 4105 bull. To my eye he's as good as they come. I saw him in May & he was growing into a real sire. I'm planning on using him heavily over my 955W daughters, I think they'll be right on the mark.

Love the cattle pictured here. If you don't want the horns, I would give MR. Victor Domino a call. Those cattle MILK.

I'm in Australia so I have been talking to Jack about getting some out here. I hope to get some towards the end of the year. Holden's retained a 50% share. I have a good photo of him that I'll dig out & put up tomorrow. He's worth making the time to have a look if you get the chance.

I've talked to Jack in person about it on several occasions and feel like I'm getting the run around. He says it is his partners decision and he will talk to them. I emailed Ridder's and got a terse email back saying:
>>We'll start collecting the bull soon. We'll get back to you with pricing then. Thanks for your interest.<<
I like the bull. Guess we'll see what happens on semen. Would be interested in your pic.

4105. Taken May 2015 so he'd be 15 months.

Thanks for posting. Was that at Ridders?
