I've heard good things about 4055P and 286M...what's other good L1 bulls to help udders while still being a functional animal everywhere else?

Mr. Bixler had a Debter bull his number was 368 that I bought and the daughters had really good udders. Believe that he bought another Debter bull that had the same dam as 368

I can't really think of any real bad L1 udders I've seen.

Were they ever tested for HY? Not seeing it so didn't know. 9012Y was a carrier 9012Y was an IE carrier but 767 and 9126 were tested free. None were HY carriers. The original Line 1 source is the Miles City station where the cattle are raised as range cattle. Thus many udder problems were eliminated do to fact they didn't raise a calf. Also it is a closed herd so new shit (skeletons) are not being throwed into mix all of the time. I still see some Line 1s that could be improved in the udder mostly in attachment. I think at many times we feed to much to increase production and consequently ruin udders.
