I was in Gene Petersons herd on many occasions. Traded bulls with him and bought a couple of females. The cows that went back to the SX cows and CL Mischief 9 were really good cows.

Don't know about the Peterson in Havre, but I would assume that the bull you are wondering about was at AEP in Livingston. As Randy mentioned, Gene Peterson was the only name I heard of there, but that was before my time.

AEP was for Alvin E Peterson.... His sons were Gene and Lorrie..... Gene had the AEP herd by the time I was around and Lorrie was from Grande-Peterson fame...They were at Livingston, MT.... Gene owned interests in WCF L1 Domino 7127, L1 CL3 Domino 73197, L1 Domino N915 along with many others. ... Lorrie raised Golden Treasure GP and many many others...

When I was about 8 yrs old we went on the Mt Hereford tour and went to Lorrie Peterson's place. I could have been on that tour...lol... was it pre Golden Treasure GP or post?...lol.... the Park-Gallatin Hereford Association had a tour about every year.. The Thayer Stevens cattle had a huge impact in many herds. Including Bennett and Colyer. Haygood got a ton of miles out of SX 3...
