That link shows jan issue. Is the herd one out yet?
In the jan issue there is an article written by one of blt's daughters on McIntyre ranch. Pretty neat to me as that is where my grandfather acquired his first reg females. Beautiful place

Went through part of the Herd Bull issue online on Wednesday, got two copies today in mail, why do not know. Plan on reading it over weekend. Also, signed up for CHA's Digest Forward a few weeks back.

I thought page 66 was a particilarly fine example... he kinda stood out like a sore thumb... "he's 30 years behind his time" kinda like the look of bull center of page 91. wouldn't mind seeing him in person and his mother right after she calved. looks to have nice back wheels.

Page 66 reminds me of calf pictures in late 70's and early 80's from the frame chasers. I liked the bull on page 71 when he was pictured prior to selling and made inquiry, but did not get much response from breeder. Would like to see his feet. Has anyone seen bull on page 71 and can give assessment, and bull on page 86 as well??? Interesting mating son back to his mother. I side with BB on 11W on page 91, and out of 46E daughter. Mick was 30U your pick on page 95??? Poholka's cows look the kind, but never seen any in person. Was told by CHA office he is very motivated to reduce his numbers since he is primary labor force.
