Photos from 7/10/14. Glad we don't have to worry about the creeks running dry this summer like we did the past 2 summers of drought. Cows are finally catching back up on condition after a couple rough summers. I put the registration info with the pictures if anyone wanted to know the breeding on the cows or calves.
Oldest cow in the herd at 11 years old: TS PRINCESS TORI 74J 11M (P42260740)
Rising star in our herd: S LOGIC'S COWGIRL 31X (P43088672) with 3/21 heifer calf S TREY'S FANCY GIRL 5080 91B (P43478105) She will likely make Dam Of Distinction this spring as she has already weaned 2 calves at 110 ratio average and this heifer calf will easily keep her over the 105 mark to qualify. I've posted some pictures previously, she is the dam of S REBEL 4R 73Z {DLF,HYF,IEF} (P43279402) who is now at work in the Wiese and Sons program.

This cow has turned out to be our best buy from the Schu-Lar dispersal SCHU-LAR 32T OF 402 18R (P42791089) with an On Target 936 bull calf S MARKSMAN 936 84B (P43478104)
S MARKSMAN 936 84B (P43478104) by himself
He's a little young but here's a 4/18 bull calf out of our other Logic dam and sired by our herd bull R Puckster III 5080 that we probably need to get registered
SCHU-LAR 917 VIVIAN N008 774ET (P43036596)
And this is 917's Revolution 4R heifer calf S REVA 4R 81B (P43478097)
Yearling Revolution Heifer S REVA ANN 4R 42A (P43380609)
Another yearling Revolution heifer S REVA GAL 4R 43A (P43380604)
SCHU-LAR 722 OF 306 255M ET (P42799091)
Wish I could have got a better angle because this first calf heifer out of Revolution as she has a nice udder although as you can tell she's a little thin because she's milking so well but she seems to have settled on first AI service for another Feb. calf which is great.
S REVA 4R 74Z (P43279404) with 936 heifer calf S ANNIE 936 83B (P43478103)
This will be the last year for our herd sire R PUCKSTER III 5080 {DLF,HYF,IEF} (P43107245) Pretty happy with the calves we have got from him and he's been a great calving ease bull. Pulling chains have stayed in the house 3 years now, we've only had to touch a cow with 1 of his calves just once and that was for a backwards calf.
And just some random pasture photos below. Small calf in the middle isn't exactly a runt, it's just the youngest calf in the bunch born on May 5 where most of the calves around it are Feb. and March calves so it looks a little dwarfed in comparison. Momma is the big 11 year old cow at the top so he'll be fine
Bull calf on the left is another younger one we may need to register. He's a 4/19 calf out of a DOD cow sired by World Class
