Try this again since photobucket seems to be a piece of crap. Disclaimers: 1. TML1 2. I am no photographer. I am not Jane Deewall or even Ken Coleman with the Kodak! 3. These are range cattle not show cattle. They are "working class" cattle. In fact most of these pics were taken after not even seeing this set of cows for over 10 days. They gotta take care of themselves. Heifer Calf

Nice set of cows and calves. Like the udder on the heifer. Your pictures look great to me.

They look good. Hope they don't founder on all that green stuff. The bull calf looks like he's got a good top on him.

The bull calf looks like he's got a good top on him. He's out of a good Coleman bred cow. That helps!

Yeah I like that bull calf too Glenn, looks like he has some good thickness through his top and pretty stout in the front in that photo

especially the first calver, how is she bred? She is an 065X daughter. I don't have the numbers that Ken, TJ have but in my limited sampling he really puts a "big body" on them. By that I mean both deep bodied and big topped. The other thing is they seem to get better with age. I have yet to be in love with an 065 (either bull or heifer) at weaning time but by 13-14 months the bulls start looking more impressive and at about 20 months the cows start looking really good. So far I like the girls better than the boys. Again, just my .02 and I have very limited numbers.

Glenn,
Animals look good. I agree with Hoekland about the 8 yr cow, she looks good. Who is the bull calf by? The one in the picture by himself.

The bull calf is sired by CL 1 Domino 820U (42897517) and out of this cow. Of course this picture was taken this winter about 2 months before she calved. One thing you will be able to see is she wasn't pampered.

Great looking group of cows that seem to have amples amount of milk and performance. The Coleman Herefords program has a great group of cattle.

4-22-2014 Getting ready to head to South Dakota....... 847 looked good when I saw him yesterday! So, Ken, when are you going to have some more of those 99496 X 226 calves? I'm assuming that is one of the bulls that you flushed her with.
